Products Description
Black Solid‑Color Base Paper is bulk‑dyed decorative base paper. Special high‑hiding carbon‑black colorant is fully blended with virgin wood pulp to realize intrinsic fiber coloring, different from ordinary surface‑coated black paper. It delivers consistent black tone on both paper surface and core, with full matte black shade without greyish or bluish cast. Optimized for melamine impregnation deep processing, it maintains solid‑black cross‑sections after milling and cutting and supports edge‑banding‑free applications. It is widely applied for light‑luxury commercial projects and minimalist dark‑style custom furniture, and meets requirements for FSC‑COC certified supply chains for export.

Production Line
Black Solid‑Color Base Paper is manufactured on Lunan New Materials’ intelligent production line for bulk‑dyed decorative base paper. The whole workflow covers pulp homogenization, in‑tank carbon‑black toning, Fourdrinier sheet forming, multi‑stage pressing & dewatering, gradient drying, multi‑roll calendering, online visual defect scanning, rewinding and slitting. Equipped with closed dedicated pigment feeding system, it prevents carbon‑black dust leakage and achieves thorough mixing between colorant and wood pulp for uniform color through surface and core. Closed‑loop system monitors basis weight, moisture and blackness in real‑time to offset production fluctuations and eliminate defects like pulp lumps and pinholes. Neat finished rolls support mass‑production for domestic projects and FSC‑COC certified overseas orders.

Packaging & Shipping
The carbon‑black surface of Black Solid‑Color Base Paper is prone to powder‑rubbing smudges. Each finished reel is fully wrapped with heavy‑duty kraft paper and further sealed by high‑strength waterproof PE film. Reinforced paper edge guards are fitted on both ends to avoid chipping and powder shedding on end faces. Individual shipping mark is attached to each roll, marking color code, batch number, basis weight, width and net weight.
Reels are stored in separate layers inside containers with anti‑static buffer spacers between rolls to prevent powder contamination caused by friction. Container desiccants are applied to avoid damp‑induced discoloration during sea freight. Reels are rigidly strapped to prevent shifting and abrasion. Mixed loading with light‑colored paper is not recommended. Full isolation protection shall be implemented if mixed shipment is required.

After-Sales Service
1.Special inspection report for colored paper is provided for each shipment, including blackness comparison records against customer‑confirmed samples for incoming quality check.
2.Valid time window for appearance complaint is 4 working days upon goods receipt. If broken film, worn kraft wrapping, surface powder smudge or damaged end faces are found on unpacking, complete unedited unboxing videos and photos shall be submitted. Roll‑replacement solution will be offered upon valid verification. Claims without valid supporting documents will not be accepted.
3.Independent color‑sample archive for black series permanently stores customer‑approved physical samples for repeat‑order reference. For brand‑new customized black shades, sample reels will be delivered first. Mass‑production will only commence after customer’s confirmation on blackness and matte performance.
FAQ
Q1: Can Black Solid‑Color Base Paper be shipped together with light‑colored paper in one container?
A: Mixed loading is not recommended, as rubbed‑off black powder may contaminate light‑toned paper. If mixed container is necessary, complete baffles and protective layers must be installed in advance and notified during order placement.
Q2: Why do finished panels turn grey after impregnation and hot pressing?
A: Pigment property, hot‑press temperature and resin formulation will influence final surface effect. Pre‑production trial panel testing is strongly suggested to match your equipment parameters.
Q3: Is small‑batch black‑shade customization available? What is the MOQ?
A: Minimum roll quantity applies for new customized black shades. Sampling lead‑time is 8‑11 working days. Soft‑fog black and deep‑black are in stock for immediate ordering.
Q4: Is FSC certification available for export shipments?
A: FSC‑COC supply‑chain certification is available. Certificates can be provided separately or attached with shipments.
